This guide provides step-by-step instructions on how to upload and manage documents in Scarlett Mortgage. It walks you through the process of navigating to the relevant page, uploading documents, organizing them into folders, deleting and emptying the recycle bin, and adding notes to the documents.

Step-by-Step Guide

1) Go to your deal dashboard and select the deal you want to upload documents to. Here we will open deal 400.

2) In the upper menu bar, click on documents and forms

3) Now in the upper left corner click upload

4) This opens an upload window where you can either drag or drop documents into the window or select and click them from the file menu

5) Once completed, click upload

6) In the upload files window, you can remove the documents, specify the document type, and add notes. When you are done, hit the "Save" button.

7) As you can see, the two documents have been added to your files

8) You can click on the eye symbol to preview the documents

9) You can click the download document button to download the document to your computer

10) To remove a document, click on the tick box on the left side of the document, click on the actions button, and select delete

11) Alternatively, you can click on the three dots in the document column and click delete

12) Both of these open a new popup window asking you to confirm if you want to delete the selected items. Simply press "OK" and they will both be deleted.

13) Pressing delete moves the document to the Recycle Bin. This Recycle Bin is a failsafe in case you accidentally delete a document which you didn't want to. You can get to the Recycle Bin by clicking the blue button in the top right part of the screen.

14) In the Recycle Bin you can view everything which you had decided to delete

15) To get these documents out of the Recycle Bin you can click "Empty Recycle Bin" and click "OK" on the warning dropdown

16) Furthermore, let's add a Note and a Document Type to one of our sample files

17) Here, the document will show up as being named the new Document Type along with the note
