Credit Pull Problems

Edited

Blank Account dropdown

If when you attempt to pull credit you are stopped at this screen, because you do not have names in the account drop down, this means you have not been granted permission to pull credit.

You will need to contact Scarlett Mortgage Support and request that they add the ability to pull credit. Note that if you do not have your own Equifax account, the support agent will need authorization from your Principal Broker or Office Administrator to grant this ability. We recommend that you CC them on your request to support to speed the process.

Failed to establish a backside connection

This error is indicating that Equifax is having a connection issue. Equifax doesn't have a consumer-facing status page, but if you contact Scarlett Mortgage Support they can let you know if we've received notice of any issues.

Invalid member number and/or security code

This error is indicating that either we are missing your Equifax Member Number & Security Code, or that the ones we have are invalid. You will need to contact Scarlett Mortgage Support. They will need to verify the values we have on your profile. If you use a brokerage account we likely already have those values on the profile of another brokerage agent to cross reference with, but if you have your own Equifax account you will need to provide these to the support agent.

Internal Error

This error can indicate that we are missing profile information for you in the back end, or that there is an issue with Equifax. Please contact Scarlett Mortgage Support and they can assist you further.

Inquiry or trade member number not defined in high family table

This error indicates that there is an issue with your Equifax account, and you will need to contact Equifax to resolve the problem preventing your credit pull.
