2 Factor Authentication (2FA)
The addition of 2FA to Scarlett accounts is mandatory to protect user and client information. It cannot be disabled, but there are several methods to ease 2FA usage, depending on your concern.
Support/Assistant Needs Access to Your Profile
Option 1: Permissions
With your authorization, we can grant access to any other Scarlett user at your brokerage to view and/or edit your files, pull credit, or submit to lenders on your behalf. Please see the article on Permissions to better understand options here.
This would allow them to log in as themselves, receive their own 2FA code, and still action your files.
Option 2: Shared Email
The 2FA code can be set to go to a shared email inbox, rather than your personal email or cell phone. You would share this inbox with your support person(s) so that they can access the codes sent when your user logs in.
Option 3: Forwarded Emails
Within your email settings you can create a filter to forward emails with the subject line "Scarlett Verification Code" to your support person(s).
Faster Login Option that Avoids Delayed Codes
If you associate your Scarlett account with your Google, Microsoft, or Zoho account, you can click on that logo to act as your 2FA, rather than use a code by email or text.
To set this up, simply click on the logo of the service you want to use instead, below the "Login" button.
